I get phone calls from people wanting to sell me health insurance. What should I do?
Selling insurance over the telephone is not allowed in Switzerland. Hang up the phone.
You can make a complaint.
The insurance company you have a contract with is allowed to call you, and can also tell you about new offers.
If you want to make a complaint, you’ll need to collect information.
You can ask questions on the phone like:
- What is your first and last name? Which company do you work for? Please spell your name.
- Where did you get my phone number?
- What telephone number can I use to call you back? I’d like to think about it and talk to you again later.
You can then send the information together with your complaint.
Get in touch with us, and we’ll be happy to help you with your complaint.
