Working independently with a 90-day permit in the canton of Bern
As an EU citizen with a 90-day permit, you can now also work self-employed in the canton of Bern.
Where can I work independently with a 90-day permit?
Only outside of brothels. Contact XENIA if you would like to know which addresses the Migration Service accepts for incall or outcall.
What do I have to do?
- Organise the Form A1 from your country of origin.
The Form A1 is proof of self-employment in your country of origin.
You are not allowed to work independently without this form. - You must complete the online notification form 8 days before you start work.
You will receive a confirmation if you are allowed to work.
ATTENTION: The first e-mail after submitting the online notification form is only a confirmation that your notification has been received. The first e-mail does not mean that the notification has already been checked. You must send the following to the relevant migration service 8 days before you start work:
- Registration form for self-employed EU/EFTA persons in the erotic sector outside of a brothel with your details
- Signed rental contract or a subletting contract or a booking confirmation with details of the rental period. If you are subletting, you need the consent of the main tenant.
- Where you will be advertising (the names of the websites)
- Legible copy of your passport or identity card
- Form A1
REGARD:
You have to make two different notifications.
You have to fill out the online notification form (point 2) and
send to the responsible migration service all the documents (point 3).
Which migration service is responsible?
