I’d like to work in an adult entertainment club in the canton of Bern. What rules apply to me?

  • The manager is responsible for making sure you have a work permit or have been registered correctly. The registration procedure is free of charge. A work permit costs around 65 Swiss francs.
  • There has to be a contact between you and the manager. As a rule, either of you can cancel the contract with 24 hours’ notice. You can find more information about this in the ‘Rights and obligations towards managers and landlords’ section.
  • Depending on the location and work permit, the business may have to pay taxes for you. Read the ‘Taxes’ section for more information about this.
