What is a health insurance premium?

You pay a premium to your health insurance company every month, even when you’re healthy. The costs of medical treatment aren’t included in the premium. In the city of Bern or Biel, premiums cost around 450 Swiss francs a month.

If you’re not earning much (less than 35,000 Swiss francs a year), you can apply for a reduction on your premium. Contact us for an appointment.
